Rob has been serving the financial needs of individuals and families since 2012. He strives to develop long-term relationships with his clients with the objective of understanding their goals and providing for every element of the wealth management equation.

As a team member with his wife Andrea McMurran, CFP®, Vice President, Towne Wealth Management and Financial Advisor, RJFS, Rob takes a comprehensive approach to addressing your financial needs. After getting to know you and having a complete understanding of your investment objectives and your tolerance for risk, Rob and Andrea will work closely with you to develop a customized financial plan designed to meet your long-term financial objectives. Their planning-based approach is designed to help you meet current financial needs while looking towards the future; mitigate tax liabilities and successfully address estate issues; get better control of discretionary expenses; and reach your long-term financial goals.

Originally from Portsmouth, Virginia, Rob graduated from the College of Charleston with a degree in History and obtained his Juris Doctor from the Florida Coastal School of Law. Prior to joining Towne Wealth Management in 2014, Rob worked with Virginia Asset Group and as a prosecutor for the Norfolk Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office. Away from the office, Rob is an avid fisherman. He enjoys time with his family and boating on Hatteras Island. Rob is passionate about the community in which he lives and enjoys supporting student athletes through the Portsmouth Sports Club*.
