Matt is a Managing Partner at Towne Wealth Management where he serves the comprehensive wealth management needs of high-net-worth families including business owners of privately held companies and families with multi-generational wealth. Matt offers clients over 30 years of financial services experience including over 20 years in wealth management. As a Certified Financial Planner® professional, Matt specializes in the development and implementation of holistic wealth management plans and solutions. Matt was previously a Senior Vice President and Wealth Advisor with SunTrust Bank’s Private Wealth Management Division.

Through a highly experienced team-based approach, the advisors at Towne Wealth Management deliver comprehensive wealth management services which are tailored to a client’s specific goals and needs, including tax-efficient financial planning; investment management; retirement planning; risk management; and trust/estate planning.

Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Virginia and Master of Business Administration from The College of William & Mary. Matt has achieved the Certified Financial Planner® and the Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor certifications, holds the Series 7 and 66 registrations along with the Virginia life and health insurance license. Matt is a member of the Financial Planning Association and the Estate Planning Council of Richmond, Virginia and serves on the Board of Directors for Commonwealth Community Trust*.
